More About Brian:
After playing baseball for the West Coast Conference Champion University of San Diego Toreros and receiving his B.S. in Political Science, Brian signed a free agent contract with the Chicago Cubs.
Following his time as a professional athlete, Brian got back into politics, spending seven years as the Deputy Director for a member of the United States Congress, where he handled issues such as biotechnology, climate change and environment, immigration, and rubbed elbows with the Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, and others.
Brian left public service to serve as the Director of Public Affairs for a SaaS startup company based in San Diego. As an early employee, Brian helped the company rapidly grow to over 80 employees and named one of the most desirable places to work in Southern California.
Whether it’s speaking to CEOs, founders and their companies, Inc. 5000 startups, or students and faculty at universities and high schools, his greatest passion is sharing information and personal experiences to help others grow and succeed.
